Our research efforts involve the application of various psychological approaches to human behaviour regarding safety-related problems specific to the maritime industry, in order to identify multifactorial causes of accident, ill-health and injury.

We adopt various applied approaches and models for empirical research basis, including Goal-Theory, Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA), Performance Feedback, Transactional Analysis, and Social Learning Theory; to develop innovative programmes for the reduction of accident frequency, for companies experiencing an ‘accident plateau’ in safety performance.

Combining specialised research and in-house training, we offer clients an evaluative and practical consultation approach to develop technique reduction of accident frequency specific to individual company needs, sustainable by self-monitoring efforts.
